My day exploring at Yodpiman River walk
A usual start to my day of adventure begins with deciding what would be the most comfortable attire for the trip. Bangkok is mostly hot, humid and sunny not to mention thing along my camera and techie stuff all over the place.
I would always opt for something light, stylish, keeps out the sun, comfortable to walk for hours in and clothing that is not clingy when it is hot! My perfect wear that comes to mind is a selection of a woman blouse from Zalora Thailand, my trusty Adidas SuperStar sneaker, CK perfume, iPad and iPhone, Charles and Keith multi-wallet, reliable Nikon camera and of course my Clinique brand of makeup!
Today, my adventure takes me to the new pier city known as Yodpiman River Walk which is situated near the old flower market street of Bangkok. Yodpiman is the new pier and home of a new cruise liner called Yodpiman Cruise, The Vertical Cruise as well as the docking port for the River Star Princess cruise.
Many of the buildings at Yodpiman River Walk are refurbished heritage buildings. The exteriors are reconstructed and interiors totally revamped to accommodate ore high-end retail shops and cafes or restaurants. Next to the buildings are an extremely efficient state-of-the-art automated multi-level parking facility.
Shops in Yodpiman River Walk are not that many at the moment as the place is fairly new at less than a year, but more retail shops are undergoing interior design works and getting ready to open business.
There is a boardwalk and cruise ship docking facilities. You can board any of these cruise to take a River cruise or have a wonderful dinner on cruise experience.
Booking counters for the cruise can be done on site or in advance through registered travel agents.
