One day tour to Grand Palace and Wat arun
A One day tour in Bangkok where we had plans to visit 2 famous attractions in one day.
First we will go to The Royal Grand Palace and then we will go to Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn). We start our tour from our Hotel but first we book a ticket online from Travel agent which included the pickup from our hotel and it only cost us 874 Baht all inclusive of the tour and transfers to the Royal Grand Palace,English speaking guide and Lunch box.
The van picked us up from the hotel at 7.30 am. We arrived at the Royal Grand Palace at 9.00am as the Bangkok traffic was quite heavy in the early morning due to the morning work rush hours and we finished our tour at almost 12.00 pm. We didn’t follow the tour van back to the hotel because we wanted to continue our journey to Wat Arun (The temple of the dawn) so we walked from Royal Grand Palace toward the Chao Phraya River to Tha Tien pier. We take the shuttle boat for only 3 Baht / person from Tha Tien pier to Wat Arun. The entry for foreigners is 100 Baht / person and Wat Arun is open daily from 08:30 to 17:30. After we finished the tour we took the bus number 15 from Royal plaza sanam luang to Siam Paragon. So from now let my pictures tell you the story. 🙂
